The endowment fund for Highland Community Foundation is used to support projects which improve the quality of life in our community.

Having an endowment fund provides us a steady stream of annual income for programs and operations. The principal of the fund is untouched and invested so that it grows over time, and the interest earned is available for our use every year.

Contributions to our endowment fund are tax-deductible. The Highland Community Foundation Endowment Fund is managed by Legacy Foundation, Lake County’s community foundation.

Checks should be delivered or mailed to Highland Community Foundation at P.O Box 1783, Highland, IN 46322 or Legacy Foundation (370 E. 84th Drive, Suite 100, Merrillville, IN 46410) and be made payable to Legacy Foundation. Please include HICFE in the memo line of the check.

You can make a one-time donation or set up a recurring gift. Donors also have the option to make gifts in honor or memory of someone special.

Upon completing your donation, you will receive a tax-deductible receipt from the Legacy Foundation.
